Opening in August, 2008, Milwaukee's Harley-Davidson Museum will be an entire 20-acre complex focused on motorcycles and those who ride them, featuring exhibits, archives, event space, a museum store, a restaurant and a beautiful river-front park. Highlights will include several unique rivet walls and plazas, displaying thousands of stainless steel rivets customized with names and messages from Harley-Davidson enthusiasts displayed for all to see, and "The Road" an incredible chronological display of an array of one-of-a-kind motorcycles. The museum will be located in downtown Milwaukee on the Menomonee River.
