Originally built in 1924 after a visit to Italy, Villa Terrace Decorative Art Museum is the former home of the Lloyd R. Smith family. Donated to Milwaukee County by the Smiths in 1966, the house-turned-museum features decorative and fine art from the 15th-19th centuries, intricate wrought iron pieces and beautiful Italian-inspired landscaping. Containing rotating exhibits, the museum also provides instruction and tips on garden creation and maintenance through the Garden Lecture series. The Villa Terrace Decorative Art Museum is located just outside Veterans Park, which is along Lake Michigan in Milwaukee.
Open Wed. - Sun. 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Seniors (62+), Military, and Students $3; Children 12 and under are free.
