i called big lot's around 7pm asking about a product's availability. the employee not only told the status of the item i was looking for, he told me about other things that were similar and the prices for all. very good customer service - i was so shocked it made me write this review. my excitement probably says as much about the lack of customer service.

Items on display not in stock :( Staff and manager are unable and UNWILLING to sell display items...Simple solution then remove the item from display-- or maybe better Customers shop at stores that display what they are willing and able to sell !!

They have furniture in here. A lot of the put it together yourself kind of stuff. Plus they also have inexpensive dinette sets and living room furniture. They also have end tables, coffee tables and lighting. Thats only one part of the store though. They carry bed linens and bed in a bag things. Pots and pans, health and beauty stuff. Even medications can be bought here. They have a good assortment of food products and their spices are always 50cents a container.Good deals. And good prices.

Big Lots is always a crapshoot in terms of what they will have on the shelves, but you can guarantee it's going to be fun checking all of it out.I have found tons of great home dec items and accessories here and no one ever believes I found them at Big Lots. And it's not the same stuff everyone has in their house! My favorites are the picture frames, the garden stuff, Christmas decor, and kitchen gadgetry.
