My matron, 2 bridesmaids, and I had our hair done at Vici for my wedding. I also had makeup done. I let the girls do as they wanted with their hair and it turned out great for them. I am not a fancy person, so I told her a general idea of what I wanted and let her work her magic. She did an absolutely awesome job on my bridal hair! All I told her was a half pony with waves/ curls and gave her some artistic license. I was very happy with the simple yet beautiful result I received, it was absolutely gorgeous. I don't remember her name, but her station was closest to where you pay for your services. They even gave me a small gift for having my bridal party there (compact mirror, makeup remover, etc.). Another woman did my makeup (she had short, straight, blond hair). Again, I usually do not wear makeup so I wanted a light application. She made it look so nice, especially for a non-makeup person. Overall we left very satisfied. My only complaint is trying to get in contact with the wedding coordinator is nearly impossible! My wedding planner called to make the appointment and they said I (the bride) had to call. I called 4-5 times with voice messages without reply. My planner contacted them again and was able to make an appointment. I was going to have the makeup done for all my girls, but because the appointment was made so late due to the mess that only I could get it. One girl was able to have her's done at the school real quick, but otherwise the other two did their own at home. We were also going to have our nails done there, but with the mess of the hair and makeup appointments we didn't want to run the risk for the nails not getting done. So, in short, get an appointment with them a good amount of time before the wedding! Try 2-3 months minimum in case you run into the same issue I had. They still did a really good job though. Appointments were made at the salon, not the school.

Well, I after a terrible experience with the Vici in Brookfield I was reluctant to visit this Vici location. I donated my hair there in October 2008 and by luck of the draw got Hannah as my stylist at the Salon (not the school). I have been back four times since to maintain my new short hair and Hannah is fabulous! The prices are not bad and they have even exchanged styling products that were not working for me. If you have not tried this salon, I would say that it is worth a visit.

I received a partial highlight from Sarah - a GTS (low level stylist) at Vici Salon and Spa. She did an average job on my hair and I can't complain. However, when I got the bill it was $80! The website advertises $53.50 for a partial highlight from GTS stylists. I paid the bill and left; however, I started adding up the costs in my head on the drive home. I called the salon when I got home to inquire about the price difference. It turns out I was charged $14.50 for styling my hair. Sarah never mentioned the charge for using a flat iron on my hair. In fact, I complained to her that at the last salon I never got my hair styled b/c it cost extra and I could do it at home for free (plus, I prefer the way I style my own hair). The receptionist informed me that he would have Sarah explain the charges better to future clients and rudely told me goodbye. So, if you choose to go to Vici, make sure you understand what you are going to be paying for! Or, choose from one of the many other salons in the area...

What a wonderful experience that just can't be beat. I have been back for many spa services. When you arrive you are offered a beverage and taken back to a quiet, comfortable room to await your service. The private changing rooms are supplied with fluffy robes and towels and a wide selection of Aveda products. The showers have a great combination of rainfall and body jets, and they even heat the floors so your toes don't get cold. Their massage therapists and aestheticians are professional, polite and very friendly. After your service they escort you back to the relaxtion room for more beverage and snacks. It is a marvelous experience that everyone should try!
