Anyone who needs auto body work done can stop looking. West Allis Auto Body at 8808 West National does a great job for an appreciably less amount of money. The economy being the way it is nowadays people are keeping their cars for as long as they can. My 1999 Grand Caravan has 150,000 miles on but is still running great. The problem was the rusted rear wheel well. I had an ugly spot about the size of a grapefruit that really took away from the appearance of the van. It was rusted almost all the way through so the metal had to be replaced. I have always thought MAACO was the place to go if you wanted a car painted cheaply. After going to two of their franchises in the area, both of their quotes were in the high 400 dollar range. These quotes were just to fix the rust spot, not to paint the whole car. I decided to go to YellowPages.com to hopefully find someplace a little cheaper. I wrote down three places, with West Allis Auto Body being the first on my list. I didn't have to go any further. The price quoted me was 318.80. Fully $170 cheaper than the other two quotes. The owner ( I think he was the owner, I wish I could remember his name ) who gave me the quote was laid back and friendly. I was told my van would be ready in two days and it was right on the button. The area that was fixed looked showroom new, plus the van was washed. If you can get over the fear of not having an estimate written up ( I told you he was laid back ) this is the place to go. P.S I'm sure if you asked, he would write up an estimate for you.
